The hotel is located in the centre of metropolitan Tokyo, between Aoyama and Akasaka Area. It takes only 5 minutes to walk from Exit 4 of Aoyama 1-chome station on the Ginza, Hanzomon, and Oedo subway lines, which provide easy access either to Shibuya, Harajuku-Omotesando, Roppongi or Shinjuku. Aoyama Twin Tower Building next to the subway station is a landmark of this area. Residences of some imperial families, the Canadian embassy and the Cambodian embassy are near by. The most famous night spot in Tokyo, Roppongi is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
All rooms are medium-sized with simple decor. All are equipped with a refrigerator, Internet access, and English television programming (BBC). Each room has a small closet. The bathroom is also small but in good condition. Double room has a 140 cm width bed. Triple rooms are Twin rooms with an sofa bed.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their bread is one of the features, which is made by qualified bakers and is served from the on-site oven.
It is small with some sitting space and a computer for the Internet access. The public area is smoke-free space and small terrace just outside from the lobby is space for smokers.
The hotel provides a complimentary bottle of mineral water upon check in. (one bottle per person per stay) It is owned by a governmental foundation whose purpose is to support international cooperation between Asian countries and Japan, but it welcomes tourists from all over the world. This is the best choice for travellers who would like to stay in a hotel in the city centre at low budget. (07/06 HT)
