Located opposite green parkland, this small hotel is just a 5-7 minute drive from the city centre. For the keen walker, it is possible to reach the centre by foot! This is a pleasant part of the city, 20 minutes from the airport.
Rooms are medium in size and in good condition. Although relatively basic in design, they are comfortable and warm. Some rooms are internal and do not have windows; however, only one or two rooms in total are like this.
There is no restaurant; however, the hotel serves breakfast on the ground floor.
The lobby is small in size, as one would expect, as this property has only 16 rooms. The helpful reception staff are always on hand to assist guests.
This is a small, family-run property close to the heart of Edinburgh. It is recommended for those on a budget or those not requiring luxury whilst in Edinburgh. (KB 05/08)
